TTU’s Challenger Tournaments are fun and competitive tournaments endorsed by Table Tennis Ulster.
- They are open to boys and girls of all ages.
- They are entry level competitive events hosted by different clubs across the province.
- They are designed with beginning and developing players in mind.
The format of the tournament is usually mixed groups with boys and girls competing in different divisions depending on their tournament experience. The order used for determining Divisions will be based on Junior rankings, previous Challenger series performance and coach input.
Group Stages usually comprise four players. After this round robin, all players will play off for their final position.
Players must abide by the Code of Conduct of ITTA.
These tournaments offer excellent opportunities for match practice and friendly competition against players of a similar standard from across Ulster. The emphasis is on providing plenty of matches in a fun environment.
The Challenger Tournaments are a great way to have a go at competitive table tennis, regardless of your standard or experience.
Prizes are awarded to the winners of each Division.
